Our Promise
We want every learner to feel confident enrolling. Below are the specific terms by product type. If you have any question or special circumstance, email info@aboutlearning.com — we read every message.
1. Free Preview Courses
Free preview courses are offered at no cost and are not eligible for refund because no payment is collected.
Free preview access does not automatically convert into a paid course or paid subscription.
2. Self-Paced Courses
Applies to: Educator Self-Study, Corporate Self-Study, and any other self-paced course.
Self-paced courses may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if the learner has completed less than 10% of the course content.
✅ Eligible: Refund requested within 14 days, with course progress under 10%.
❌ Not eligible: Requests after 14 days, or with progress at 10% or more.
How to Request
Email info@aboutlearning.com with subject "Refund Request — [Course Name]" and your order number. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
3. Live Webinar Cohorts
Applies to: Webinar — Regular ($697) and Webinar — Fast Track ($897) cohorts.
Because seats are limited and cohorts are pre-booked with our trainers:

At our discretion and subject to availability, we may allow a one-time transfer to a future cohort instead of a refund.
How to Request
Email info@aboutlearning.com with subject "Webinar Refund / Transfer — [Cohort Date]". Refunds processed within 5–10 business days.
4. Assessments (LTM, HMI, TSI)
Applies to: standalone purchases of LTM ($40), HMI ($30), TSI ($45).
Assessments may be refunded within 30 days of purchase only if the assessment has not been started.
Once an assessment has been started, an access code has been used, or a report has been generated, the purchase is not eligible for refund.
Technical Issue Exception
If a technical issue prevents access, customers should contact info@aboutlearning.com within 30 days of purchase. We may help restore access, issue a replacement access code, or provide a refund at our discretion.
5. Bundles (Course + Assessments + AI)
When a bundle includes courses and assessments, refund eligibility depends on whether the course progress and assessment usage meet the applicable refund requirements.
If a refund is approved, all related course access, assessment access, reports, bonus materials, and access codes may be revoked or deactivated.
6. Team / B2B Purchases
For volume seat purchases, custom invoiced orders, or enterprise agreements, refund terms are governed by the specific agreement signed with About Learning, Inc. If no specific terms apply, the standard terms above apply per seat. Email info@aboutlearning.com.
7. Third-Party Services (aboutlearning.ai)
Subscriptions or purchases made through aboutlearning.ai or other third-party checkout providers are subject to the terms and refund policies displayed at the point of purchase for that separate service.
8. Discretionary Refunds
We reserve the right to issue refunds outside the terms above at our discretion — for example, in cases of:
Genuine technical failure that we couldn't resolve
Bereavement or major life events (please reach out)
Duplicate or accidental charges (refunded automatically once verified)
If you have a special circumstance, just ask. We'd rather solve a problem than lose your trust.
9. How Refunds Are Issued
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method.
Refunds are processed in USD.
Stripe and bank processing times may vary, but refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days after processing.
Currency conversion losses, if any, are the customer's responsibility.
10. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback before contacting us, we may not be able to issue a refund through our normal process and your account may be suspended pending resolution. We strongly prefer you reach out first — refunds are usually faster than chargebacks.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy. Changes take effect for new purchases made after the "Last Updated" date. Existing purchases retain the terms in effect at the time of purchase.
