Instructional Leadership Seminar Details
May be taken for Course Credit: 1 Graduate Credit* or 1.5 CEUs*
3, 6-hour days running consecutively (in person)
1 six hour out-of-class assignment (Conduct one of the three peer to peer seminar discussions back home with report submitted. Course requirement.)
Total time 24 hours.

Cost: $500 per person, 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches (all materials included);
Additional person from same district $350

About the Presenter
This session is being presented by Dr. Bernice McCarthy, a renowned author and lecturer on the art of effective instruction. She has authored numerous books on improving the process of teaching and learning, including The 4MAT System, About Teaching, About Learning, Teaching Around the 4MAT Cycle and Hold On You Lost Me: Using Learning Styles to Create Training That Sticks. Her New book is on Using The Learning Cycle to better reach Generation Y—a whole new generation of learners.
Her passion is in helping teachers use dynamic learning methods to reach out to more students by understanding the different ways people learn.
